All our races are run on sealed surfaces to give you the best experience. We’ve got you sorted with hydration stations and support workers to make sure you have everything you need to succeed. We operate year round, so you can start planning for your 5k run no matter the time of year!
Events
Not necessarily! A 5k run is a great place to start for beginners without prior training. If you already have a little bit of aerobic endurance, you may find you can complete a 5k at a comfortable jog. Make sure you warm up before the run, and take it easy at the beginning.
Time can change based on many factors such as age, fitness level and sex, but the average time for a 5k run is between 30 and 40 minutes.
Yes! A 5k run is usually the first race new runners take part in. Some people don’t train before their first 5k run, but training in the weeks leading up to the event can improve your performance on the day.
